About the business
CK Net is an internet marketing company started by Christopher Kelly in August 2003 whilst still at university. Initially in partnership with a mobile phone supplier, the companyâs clients now include the likes of the AA, ntl, sky and Apple.

Judges comments
The judges felt that Christopher's story is an excellent example of how sole entrepreneurs can take on the big companies on the web and win. The company has shown extreme courage in surviving the potentially disastrous liquidation of a key customer which resulted in serious losses for a new business. The recovery has been excellent with many major new accounts won and the business has demonstrated some very impressive profit growth.
